Right after Music To Drown
Your Wife To I started this album, a huge 2 disk set,
with each song melding into the next to be one
continuous track. Unfortunately I lost it all due
to a hard drive crash in 2009 (back up your shit,
always), and what I'm left with are the scant remnants
of a "masterpiece." These are the songs I could
find, either put up as singles or for something else
such as a film festival I submitted music to. They
are not the greatest, some are 8 years old or older.
Made them all with Acid Pro, using loops and samples,
many were really blown out, none are mastered, I
normalized some of the more nasty ones, but it's about
as good as I can get it. While some of the songs
sound pretty bad, there are some real gems that I have
used to show off my music over the years as well:
Psionic, Tokeatron, I played Sheeple at the Uptown Bar
at one of my first shows and it was the only one people
clapped for rofl, CrazyInTheNight, a punk rock tribute,
a bunch of girls danced to that at the Hexagon when I "dj'd"
in between bands, my brother said he really liked Folly,
JustWalken has over 4000 views on YouTube, which I know
isn't a lot but it's a lot for me. The Apsaras
Told Me, Gracious, Feverishly, and the ending of
Understanding parts 1-3 (one of my most favorite songs
that I ever made) were used in the indie film "People
Talk." I always liked Sonnenaufgang because it was
so damn happy, and Mirth is still pretty sick.
GirlWouldSay and JustWalken were never going to be
released on this album because I was going to sell it at
one time, but since I'm just giving it away now I said
screw it. I got pretty dark on this album, and
that's continued through my music today. I just
wish I could release the whole thing how it was before
the '09 crash.
